ITS MY BIRTHDAY!

I'm 20 years old today! Yeeeeeeeehaw! :D

MGMT CONCERT WAS...

Went to the MGMT concert last night at Sentrum Scene in Oslo. The concert started at 20:00, but they were delayed and wouldn't let us in. It was freezing!! I thought my toes were going to turn black and fall off it was so cold!

Once they let us in, we (Me and my super cool mum) went up to the balcony and sat down in the front. We waited and waited, then the support band came on (Smith Westerns, i think they were called) and started playing. They played for about 1 hour or more i think. The music was ok, couldn't really hear what they were singing and it all sounded like the same song being played over and over again. And their SKINNY JEANS?!??!?! OH MY LORDY! Super skinny guys in really skinny jeans....NO! It was like a wreck, where you can't stop looking...But they were ok :)

After they were done, they started setting up for MGMT. IT TOOK FOREVER!! They kept playing weird music to keep us entertained (i think) and i was starting to wonder if there actually was a band coming on. After almost like 45 min or something they finally came on. They played all the cool songs and we had a great time :D

The only thing that annoyed me with the concert was that they took forever to start, it was delayed and a song was played waaaaay to long..like yawn! Other than that i had a great time and MGMT was super! :D

MGMT Concert!

Going to a MGMT concert in Oslo now with my mum (cuz she is cool!). Don't really want to go today, because its freezing outside, i can't stop thinking about the loan and its just stressy and the wrong time to go to a concert. Plus its my birthday tomorrow and its just...BLAH!

Oh well...Here we go!

AUSTRALIA SO FAR...

I feel like i have so much to do before i'm moving to Brisbane in 2 months! I really don't think i will be able to do everything by my self. Its so many new things and its scaring the life outta me!

What i HAVE done:

- Visa (yeah!)
- Campus (I have applied for campus accomodation, will get letter about it in january)
- School (I've got my COE from Griffith UNI)
- What else...??
- ANSA

- Called bank to find out what i should do about accounts, cards +





What i GOT to do..now!:

- Incurance
- Bank card
- Plane tickets
- So much more!

KAT VON D TWEET!

Its so weird how you can ask a question to someone on Twitter, who only had a small part in a tv show and nothing big after that and they will not reply to you even though you are they only one who has @mentioned them in like a week! Plus he follows me as well! haha And then when you ask someone who is really famous like Kat Von D a question, she answers.. Thats what happened yesterday. I didn't think she would answer me, but she did...Very cool :)

Visa!

I've now my visa! It took me about 2 hours to fill in the application online. Thought it was going to take about 5-10 days until i got it, but it only took them 2 hours to fix it! :D

So glad i've got that done!

BIRTHDAY CAKE!

I made a birthday cake for my mum today. Its her birthday tomorrow and i wanted to make her something special, not just a normal boring chocolate cake. So i made a two layer cake, with vanilla slices and chocolate slices as layers, white and milk chocolate filling with a taste of coffee/cinnamon. After i made the cake and the filling, i covered it all with marzipan and decorated it with different colours and a flag. I hope she likes it! :)

This is only the second time i make a cake like this, so it isn't THAT good.

My school - Griffith

I got into a school in Brisbane called Griffith and will be having my first school day in February 2011. I'm going to be taking a Bachelor in Photography at South Bank. I chose to do photography because its something i really enjoy doing, and its something that i feel i would be happy working with. Why i chose to study in Australia? I don't really know why. I guess it was because i feel like i have to do something drastic and because i really need to get out of Norway.

Hello. My name is Rebecca and i'm 19 years old. I made this blog so people could follow me and see what i'm up to. I'm gonna be moving to Australia soon and i wanted to share the stress/excitement with people, mostly family and friends.

In this blog i'm gonna be posting up what i've got left to do before i leave for Australia in 6-7 months, maybe some normal everyday stuff, about my school, photography, holidays and loads of other stuff.

I'm very close to my family and by having this blog, posting up videos, photos, updates while i'm Australia i feel like i can still be close to them and let them know whats going on down under. Thats mainly what i'm going to be using this blog for, but before i leave for Oz i'm just gonna be using the blog for random junk.
